The classic French soap—in clean natural-colored bars and slices—is now boxed in fragrant, colorful slabs that are easily affordable ($5.50-$6). Prized for its vegetable base, the soap is now available with an infusion of argan oil. Each of the 36 different fragrances is sourced from Grasse, France’s “fragrance capital,” and the subtle but distinctive scents give an additional dimension to the luxurious bar soap. Each square is stamped and includes the fragrance name. According to the brand, the stamping is an integral part of the packaging concept, because it’s visible through the designed box “which distinctively juxtaposes the traditional and artisanal heritage of this soap making with a contemporary grunge design for today’s trendy buyer.”
